En Route's entire network is enabled by wirelessly connecting the hardware that is installed in the taxis to the Content Management System which is hosted in the cloud and controlled from the En Route office. All data can be transferred over the internet, allowing for remote management of the screens and more frequent content and advertisement updates.

Wireless connectivity ensures that En Route can :

• Transfer content and advertisements over the air to the screens, and require no manual intervention
• Transfer software updates and patches over the air, to minimize screen and taxi downtime
• Transfer usage analytics and error reports on a regular basis to allow for regular updates of passengers likes and dislikes

The network is currently based on EVDO technologies, and will be switched to 3G technologies once the coverage is available across the city.
